Summer

Hola my son!  Another week gone!  We hope it was a good one, that Glenda's wedding took place and that you had lots of success and progress with your investigators.  Excited to hear all about it!

Well, the summer is in full swing, this morning was the first day of cross country practice.  Stefanie decided that she wants to train all summer with Dad and the Copper Hills team, and join Coach Rowe and the Lehi team when school starts in the fall.  Dad had 120 kids show up for the first day of practice!!  Wow, they have a good XC program going at CHHS!  Stefanie had a good first run and is excited to do some serious training.

I got an email message from Paula Glassett this week, inviting Dad and I to Elder Glassett's welcome home meeting the end of this month.  They are also having a dinner for friends and family at their home the night before, we were invited to that too!  We are excited to meet Elder Glassett!

Dad has a busy summer coming up--not much of a summer break for him!  This week he has cross country practice every morning, then straight to a basketball camp at UVU. Lehi has four teams at the camp, it will be a crazy week for him.

Our yard and garden are looking great.  We have corn, cucumbers, tomatoes and pumpkins. Last week we planted three trees in the back yard…apricot, pear and maple.  The grapes are growing over the arbor in the secret garden, we will have lots of apples and cherries.  Everything is green and pretty.  I love working in the yard in the summertime!

So it sounds like there is World Cup fever there in Honduras! What an exciting time to be there on a mission!  We will be following it here too!  First game on Thursday!

Excited to hear from you today!  We love Mondays because we get a letter from our missionary!
