Wedding Reception

We could not have been more pleased with Rachel and George's wedding reception.  It was held at Sleepy Ridge Club House in Orem, and it was beautiful.  The room, the decorations, the colors, the music, the food, the flowers, the cake, the pictures, the slide show, the wonderful, overwhelming support and love from friends, neighbors and family. It was perfect in every way.

The bridesmaids...Stefanie, George's twin sister Hillary, and Tami.

The groomsmen...Braden, George's brother and brother-in-law.

The wedding party.

Our family plus one more!

Proud mommy of the bride.

The cake was gorgeous! Loved the fresh red roses.

We were so grateful and humbled by the wonderful support of friends, neighbors, ward members and family who came.  The first guests began arriving about 20 minutes early and there were no breaks for over 2 hours.  At one point the line snaked out the door and around the building.  Amazing!  Oh, my feet were aching by the end of the night.  My sweet sisters took good care of us by bringing drinks of water and checking to see if we needed anything.  It was such a fun night.'

Everyone loved the crepes!  They were so delicious! We had a ton of compliments about the yummy food.

The beautiful decorations and centerpieces

A darling video of Rachel and George through the years played on two separate screens.

A lovely grand player piano provided the music for the evening.

More reception shots. Kent and I wished we would have had more than 2 minutes to visit with each of our guests!

Cutting the cake!

Braden, Stefanie, and George's siblings did a great job decorating George's car!

Finally Kent and I got some food!!
The Sparkler Send-off! This was so cool!  All the guest were given sparklers to escort the newlyweds away to their honeymoon.  It was romantic and beautiful!

Off they go...JUST MARRIED!! Our hearts were full of gratitude, relief and utter amazement that we had pulled it off!  A beautiful, memorable, perfect, joyful day.
