STEFANIE'S PERSONAL DAY

Stefanie informed me this morning that she was going to take a personal day from third grade. Since I had the day off work, she wanted to hang out with me. So together we cleaned the house, did some laundry, ran some errands, visited the library and went out to lunch. She loved it and so did I. Thanks, Stefanie, for taking a personal day!

GETTING STARTED

Well, I've finally decided to join the bandwagon and make a blog. I read an excellent article in the April 2008 Ensign entitled "My Journal, My Testimony". In that article was a quote from President Kimball with the admonition to "begin today and write your goings and your comings, your deeper thoughts, your achievements, and your failures, your associations and your triumphs, your impressions and your testimonies. This is what the Lord has commanded, and those who keep a journal are more likely to keep the Lord in remembrance in their daily lives." The article pointed out that there are many different ways to keep a journal--diaries, letters, scrapbooking, picture albums, drawings...and blogging! So with these things in mind, I am excited to undertake this project. A big thanks to my friend Kim for helping me get it started.
