One Year

Another year has come to an end ,

It's time to send a note to our friends.

So here is an update, a review of our year,

A holiday greeting to friends far and near.

Her second year of college, Stefanie is going strong.

Three semesters on the Dean's List can't be wrong.

Classes and work fill up her time,

No time for boys suits her dad just fine.

Our adventurous son Braden, the world he has seen,

Germany, Spain, Mexico and a few in between.

Surgery in September, his knee was a mess.

As a door-to-door salesman he has found great success.

Rachel and George, the two became three.

With the most darling baby we all agree.

Our sweet little Ivy is busy and sweet,

As a crawling ten-month-old, she can't be beat.

George still in school, he's on the countdown,

April will find him in cap and gown.

Rachel loves being a new mommy and wife.

Homemaking and crafts are her new way of life.

Janeal loves being a grandma, the name fits just right.

She spoils that baby with all of her might.

Teaching first grade fills her heart with joy,

She cares for her students, each girl and each boy.

Becoming a grandpa made Kent feel old,

But life keeps getting better as the years turn to gold.

A new high school assignment is his latest test,

Coaching girls' basketball is what he does best.

So to all of our loved ones keeping up with our tale,

We hope life is good and treating you well.
