CRAZY SPRING WEATHER

We can't decide if spring has arrived or not! One day we're having a total blizzard...













...and the next day it is sunny with signs of spring everywhere!

IRONY

Here's an ironic story...two weeks ago we traded in our Dodge Caravan, and bought a 2006 Ford Freestar, greenish gray with lots of modern amenities, it's nice! We drove it for the first time last week to St. George, we all love it. Today I was driving home from work, stopped at an intersection and was rear-ended. Now the back bumper is all dented and scraped up. Two weeks!! The guy who hit me was the on-duty Chief of Police. He was very apologetic, had another trooper come to the scene to write the police report, take pictures and get a statement from an eyewitness. While I was waiting I called Kent and told him I had just gotten in an accident...with a cop. He thought I was joking and was not amused.

SPRING BREAK

Hooray for Spring Break! We had a great time in St. George, we spent most our time in the hotel pool and hot tub. It was sunny and warm, over 80 degrees. We were even happier to be there when we saw on the news that it was cold and snowy back home. The kids were begging to stay indefinitely!The St. George temple is beautiful! We spent some time at the visitor center and walked through the grounds. Then early Wednesday morning Kent and I left the kids sleeping in the hotel room and did a session.

PEDICURE

My toes are ready for spring! Time to break out the sandals and flip-flops. This morning I treated myself to a professional pedicure. It was so much fun! And very relaxing. I think I could really get used to the pampered life!

OUR TRACK GAL

Rachel has joined the track team at the middle school, today was her first home meet. She trained for and ran the 800 meter race, she did great! She ran her hardest and gave it everything she had, and looked cute doing it! We were so proud of her!

OUR SOCCER STAR

Spring soccer has begun! Braden has played on a super-league team with the same group of boys and coaches for five years now. He loves it! Here are a few pics from a game last fall.

HOME IMPROVEMENT

I am so grateful for my new kitchen floor! Last weekend we ripped out the old stained vinyl and carpet from the kitchen and dining room area, and had it replaced with tile. It looks so much better! I can't believe how much it has brightened up the whole room.
