Bonfire

It takes a lot of work to get a garden ready for planting in the spring.  A couple of weeks ago we had a big bonfire in our back yard and burned all the brush, shrubbery and clippings we could gather from the yard.  

Afterwards, Stefanie roasted a marshmallow in the coals.  Last weekend Kent borrowed a rototiller from our neighbor and got the soil all ready for planting.  And this week that is just what we did.  Pumpkins, corn, cucumbers, watermelon, tomatoes, peppers...the usual.  Can't wait!
