It is that time of year again--graduation. We've got several graduation announcements taped to the fridge, and it got me thinking about the graduations I've been a part of...high school, seminary, college. But I think my most life-altering graduation wasn't my own...it was my husband's. That was 15 years ago and at the time, it seemed that we had been living the student life forever. We were tired of being dirt poor, anxious to get on with "real life". Our baby Rachel was 5 1/2 months old, we were living in Provo in an old, tiny apartment, ready to embark on a career and an actual paycheck. What an exciting, scary, hopeful time of life! And what wonderful memories it brings back.
