Cross Country

Braden's cross country season is over for his freshman year and we couldn't be prouder of him! He put everything he had into every practice and meet, and it paid off. He is among the top freshman in the state, running varsity and earning points for his team at every meet. Last Saturday was the region meet, Braden came in with a time of 17:02, and was third on his team. Unfortunately, they barely missed qualifying for state, he was extremely disappointed. I got two e-mail messages later that weekend, one from Coach Rowe who said, "Braden has a bright future and I can't wait to work with him in the next few years." The other message was from Ty's Dad, Ty is the #1 runner on the team this year. He said, "Congrats to Braden on his race this morning. He has done so well this year. He is much farther ahead as a freshman than Ty was at the same point. He will be awesome before he is done."
